  1. "Unemployment" has a typo at the head of your main page. Just a heads-up so you get the credibility you deserve for running this site! Thanks.

  2. Will you also be tracking the decline in jobs as well? This would be interesting to see in case the jobs go in a negative direction due to poor planning and the irresposibility of congress for signing without reading this 1000+ page stimulus package.

  3. No matter what side of the issue one stands on, this site is a great idea.

My personal opinion, Obama is a socialist and wrapping America in his dangerous ideology.

  4. Thank you for this site. Since one of the benchmarks that Prez Obama is using as success is "saving or creating 4m jobs"... how do you propose to track jobs saved?

  5. Mike,
Everyone has the right to determine that on their own. As for myself, we were sold this bill of goods as a stimulus and job creation package. The purpose of a stimulus package is to stimulate the economy. I measure success based upon the ability of this bill to stop the loss of jobs and a reduction in the unemployment rate. Past stimulus packages have produced measurable results within 6 months. If the economy is not growing and unemployment continues to rise beyond the next few months, then there are serious problems. Success can only be measured through tangible results, anything less is nothing more than meaningless political rhetoric.

Again, if this were a long-term plan, then why was it necessary to pass the bill without a single member of Congress or the public being given more than 24 hours to examine it?

  6. What bothers me more than anything else when it comes to the economic "Crisis" (mentioned 26 times at Obama's speech in AZ) is the hypocracy of the Liberal regime. Why did Obama waste hundreds of thousands of dollars to take his wife to dinner in Chicago, fly to Denver to sign a bill that also had to be flown to Denver, then go to AZ to tell us about his "Pay Your Neighbors' Mortgage Bill"? He could have stayed in D.C. and done the same thing and saved OUR MONEY. Does he not realize he is flying around the country on OUR DIME? Who does this bozo think he is anyway? Get a clue already before this country takes a nosedive into the deep end of the ocean because it seems to me the only ones with a lifevest are the freakin Liberals.

  7. I've heard through the grapevine that it is costing OMB over $6 million per month to run this website. What a waste of money on a website that presents a very small amount of content. Is part of the stimulus bill paying for this? Does anyone else have any information about this topic?
